Veracities

1.

Here

I cannot deny all lonelinesses

That hide in the wardrobe

Or under the bed

When you enter the room.

They are mine;

They are a third presence between us

But you shouldn’t find them

Any more than faint.

2.

Here

I cannot deny all my hatreds

Sworn to revenge,

Who take the ceiling

To dark toward edge.

3.

Here

I cannot deny all my unknowns;

I’m a tomb waiting to be discovered,

I’m only a half of a person yet.
