The Age of Imbalance

Susan Wilkinson

When yin yang is maintained
like tending to a garden,
harmony blooms into flowers
to beautify life and soul.

When yin yang is distorted,
life turns into chaos and
soul into overgrown grass
to uglify the garden.

When the world verges to
disbalance with bombings
and killings to punch our eyes
and deafen our ears,

life and soul will become
death and ghost, and
our garden will become
a graveyard for good.
