Calf of Green

I bite at a mothered God
wrapped in fish skins
slimy salmon sins
needled up, bony
belly honey-thick
lemon-filled and fatty
i’m the rot-birthed
amputated Messiah
peroxide anointed
sick, already tainted
her prayers sat
sundried stinking, scratch
choking rust into
a retro-planet cup
sour milk clotting
up the tubes
fish-cold and clammy
prayer beads
half-mended
my wax Mary
